Disney World, as I’m sure you know, is huge!! There are multiple parks to choose from and there are a variety of fun activities too! The Theme Parks at Disney World are known as:

There are also Water Parks at Disney World:

Regardless of which park you choose to visit, I’m sure you’ll have a fun time! Ever thought about visiting Disney World during the holidays? I’m sure it would make an excellent trip! Experience the magic of the holiday season with your family at Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party which began on November, 9th and goes through December, 21st (select nights only) at Magic Kingdom theme park. “This festive celebration is filled with spectacular fireworks, a very special holiday parade and live entertainment featuring your favorite Disney Characters.” You can also head over to the Downtown Disney area to bring in the new year by attending the New Year’s Eve Party at DisneyQuest Interactive Theme Park. Celebrate the new year with an “exciting evening of fun, games and dancing” and be ready to “discover 5 floors fueled by electronic Disney innovation and imagination—including virtual reality, 3D encounters and classic video games.” For other Walt Disney World Destinations, consider visiting:

Kidd’s Kids go to Disney

Kidd Kraddick, who is famously known for his radio show, Kidd Kraddick in the Morning, also runs a foundation known as Kidd’s Kids. The Kraddick Foundation has a goal to “provide chronically ill and/or physically challenged children (ages 5 to 12) with an unforgettable adventure!” Throughout the year, they raise the funds necessary in order to send these children on an “all-expenses paid, fun-filled, vacation to Walt Disney World ® in Florida.” Each year, about fifty children and their families are sponsored for this trip. “Kidd’s Kids covers all expenses including airfare to/from their local market to DFW, chartered jet to/from DFW to Orlando, hotel, park passes, all meals, transportation while in Florida, souvenirs, special private character visits and so much more!” The trip to Walt Disney World lasts for five days and takes place every November. I think we’ve already established that Disney World is huge..however, it looks like the park is set to expand even more! According to Disney World’s website, “A fantastical land exists, A curse hides it from our view, A hero is needed to break the spell, That hero could be you.” Fantasyland will be an extension of the Magic Kingdom park. Supposedly, “this is a place where mermaids sing, beauties tell tales, beasts roar and elephants fly.” Fantasyland will consist of two themed areas, Enchanted Forest (opening in late 2012 with previews on November 19, 2012 and the Grand Opening on December 6, 2012) and also Storybook Circus (now open and welcoming guests).  For more information, see: New Fantasyland Expansion at Walt Disney World Resort. You can also read the article, “Disney’s New Fantasyland adds whimsical, personal touches.” Finally, to see a preview of what Fantasyland will be like, check out the “Special Update from New Fantasyland in the Magic Kingdom” video:

Aren’t you ready to plan your trip to Disney World? I know I am!! No matter what time of the year you decide to visit these Orlando theme parks, I’m sure you will have a fantastic time!
