Celebrate NYE!

“Cheers to a new year and another chance for us to get it right.” – Oprah Winfrey

New Year’s Eve is always so exciting! Bringing in the new year with a party and a great group of friends is always a recipe for success! Every year, I go back home and one of my friends has people over. I’m from a small town, so there’s not much to do there. However, reuniting with my high school friends is always a blast!

NYE 2012

Bringing in 2012 with some of my friends!

If you do happen to be in a big city for New Year’s Eve, then keep in mind that some of the best events take place during this time!

New York Events

We all know that one of the biggest New Year’s Eve events takes place in New York City. Actually, people love to watch this event even if they can’t be in the actual city! People refer to this occasion as “watching the ball drop” and it has been happening since December 31, 1907. Over one million viewers go to Times Square to watch the ball drop every year and coverage of the event is broadcast both on television and the internet to over a billion viewers. If you and your family are in New York City and you’re looking to watch the ball drop, then check out the BallDrop Family Pass. Holders of this pass will receive the following amenities:

  • Premium Open Bar Access
  • Complementary Food at participating venues throughout the night
  • Exclusive access to a few New Years Eve parties in and around Times Square. Whether, you choose to party hop all night or stay put at one of these great events, you can be sure that the Ball Drop Family Pass will make for to an unforgettable New Years Eve in NYC
  • NYC Premier DJ’s will be playing the latest hits from hip-hop, house, dance, top 40’s and pop all night long
  • Front of Line Access for select venues. You will be able to bypass the regular admission line, when available
  • 5….4…3….2…..No matter where your night has taken you when the clock nears twelve take part in the pandemonium with live countdowns and champagne toasts at every event.
  • New Year’s Eve Party Favors

Last year, Lady Gaga and Mayor Bloomberg prepared to watch the ball drop together, along with the estimated one million viewers in Times Square. Watch the 2012 Ball Drop to see if the experience is something that you would like to take part in!

Then head to Bayfront Park’s annual FREE New Year’s Bash, which includes a DJ dance party and midnight fireworks. This free NYE bash was voted “one of the Top 10 Places to Ring in the New Year by USA Today.” See more about the Miami Beach New Year’s Eve events, here: Miami and Beaches-New Years Eve.
