This weekend, in the Dallas-Fort Worth area, there are major sporting events going on! With these events, also come fun activities! Final Four Festivities

The NCAA Final Four Weekend will bring action and entertainment to the area, both on and off the court! While the actual Final Four basketball games will be played at the AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, there will be student and family friendly fun all throughout Dallas. What’s even better, is that most of these events are FREE! Check out this schedule:

  • Reese’s Final Four Friday (April 4th at 11 a.m. at AT&T Stadium) – Watch the athletes participate in final practices before the semi-finals and listen to the head coaches speak.
  • March Madness Music Festival (April 4th-6th at Reunion Park) – This three-day festival will feature the AT&T Block Party on Friday, Coke Zero Countdown on Saturday, and Capital One JamFest on Sunday.
  • Bracket Town – (April 4th-7th at Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center) – This is the “Ultimate Final Four Fan Fest” where you can meet former college stars, legendary coaches, attend an autograph session, play games, watch bands and cheerleaders perform at a pep rally, and participate in a 3-on-3 basketball tournament.
  • Road to the Final Four 5k – (April 5th at Fair Park) – Walk or run in order to support a “collaborative effort between the American Cancer Society and National Association of Basketball Coaches” to raise money towards supporting pediatric cancer research and other Society initiatives.
  • Final Four Dribble – (April 6th [Start: Dallas City Hall Plaza] [Finish: Hall C of the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center]) – 3,200 kids will have the chance to “DRIBBLE their way through the heart of downtown Dallas during the weekend of the 2014 NCAA Men’s Final Four.” Participants will receive a T-shirt, basketball and free entry into Bracket Town presented by Capital One (on event day only).

There are also Youth Clinics being offered and a Tip-Off Tailgate!

NASCAR Duck Commander 500

This weekend at Texas Motor Speedway, in Fort Worth, Hertz will sponsor its first Sprint Cup stock car, driven by Joey Logano, at the Duck Commander 500 Sprint Cup race. The NASCAR Sprint Cup Series is known for attracting nearly 150,000 fans to Texas Motor Speedway! Whether you have a pit pass, luxury suite, or campground spot where you can tail gate all day, this event is one of the best for racing fans everywhere!
